📡 We're hiring · 9 open roles

Build the wishlist that becomes a receipt.

We're a small team rebuilding how friends give to each other — gifts, group buys, outcome funds, patron tiers, and causes — with verified payees and end-to-end receipts. We want to hire people who care about the awkwardness of money between friends and want to make it less awkward.

How we work

Six things we actually do.

Most "values" pages are aspirational. These are operating instructions — they're how decisions get made on a Tuesday afternoon when nobody's watching.

01
Receipts beat vibes.

Every claim we make about money — yours, your friends', a recipient's — is backed by a receipt. We don't ship features that depend on people taking each other's word for it.

02
Awkward, named.

We talk about the things gifting is actually weird about — splitting bills, missed birthdays, money between friends. Being clinical about the awkward parts is what lets us design around them.

03
Small forever.

We aim to top out around 60 people, ever. Smaller teams ship better products, can pay everyone well, and don't require management layers that turn good ideas into committee decisions.

04
One brand at a time.

Gish is one of eight Loconomy brands. We don't dilute — each brand gets its own dedicated team and its own product roadmap. You'll work on Gish, not on "the platform."

05
Trust is the product.

Verified payees. Escrowed outcomes. FTC-compliant disclosures everywhere. If we lose trust, the whole thesis collapses. Trust & safety isn't a department — it's a constraint everyone designs against.

06
Editorial voice.

We write like a friend who has thought hard about gifting etiquette, not a tech bro who just discovered "social commerce." If you love good copy and bad jargon makes you wince, you'll fit in.

We picked Gish because the founder said the quiet part out loud: gifting is awkward, money between friends is awkward, and most products either pretend it isn't or lean so hard into "fun" that they make it worse. The honesty is the product.
